Islamabad; March 2, 2012: The fourth meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan Multi Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) Steering Committee was held on February 28, 2012.

December 14, 2011: A brain storming session was held in Islamabad on December 8, 2011 at the World Bank office and was attended by officials from the Government of Khyber Pakthunkhwa (KP) and FATA Secretariat.

December 1, 2011: A fiduciary workshop was held in Peshawar from November 30 to December 1, 2011 to build the capacity of the government employees from Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Balochistan, FATA Secretariat, and Accountant General’s Office.

October 31, 2011: The Governance Support Project for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA was launched by the Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Barrister Masood Kausar.

Defining stewardship, monitoring, and service delivery; functions and responsibilities

October 22, 2011: The Government of KP had requested the World Bank to support the health sector in KP through a grant from the Multi Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.

October 11, 2011: Two projects namely

  1. Governance Support Project for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA and
  2. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA Economic Revitalization Project

have now entered the implementation phase

ISLAMABAD; September 30, 2011 – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) announced today the approval of a US$ 6 million grant to finance capacity and program development, and urgent governance interventions for improved service delivery to the citizens.
