October 11, 2011: Two projects namely

  1. Governance Support Project for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA and
  2. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and FATA Economic Revitalization Project

have now entered the implementation phase

ISLAMABAD; September 30, 2011 – The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) announced today the approval of a US$ 6 million grant to finance capacity and program development, and urgent governance interventions for improved service delivery to the citizens.

As the Multi Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan embarks on its next phase of projects which are guided by the peace building objectives laid down in the Post Crisis Needs Assessment (PCNA),

The second meeting of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) Steering Committee was held on 27 April 2011 at the Economic Affairs Division (EAD) offices, Islamabad. 

Islamabad; April 27, 2011, The second bi-annual Steering Committee Meeting of the Multi-Donor Trust Fund (MDTF) for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) and Balochistan took place today.

On February 1, 2011, the MDTF Secretariat organized a donors' workshop that was attended by representatives from the Government of Pakistan (GoP), the province of KP and the FATA Secretariat in addition to all donors that have contributed funds to the trust fund.
